Ben Robinson – Managing Director
Ben is a BAFTA-nominated, multi-skilled television and digital media executive who has worked on some of Britain's most iconic TV shows. He trained at the BBC, before becoming managing director of Mentorn in Birmingham. He is a versatile executive producer/director, having worked across a range of programming genres, with shows including Question Time, Blue Peter & House Hunters International.
Ben has played an active role in the national and international media industry and regional creative industries, with stakeholders ranging from charities to festivals, arts organisations and educational institutions.
Ben oversees the output and business strategy of Zebra Digital. He is actively involved in media education & policy and is the key contact for knowledge exchange and social media.
Ross Berkley Simpson - Writer/Director
Ross is a writer, director and actor with a passion for intriguing stories. He trained at the ITV Workshop and then helped run it as a director and teacher. During his time there, the workshop won the BAFTA for services to Children’s Television.
Ross has won several film festival awards as both writer and director, including the BAFTA accredited Bridport film festival for his work on ‘The Present’.
Ross is also an actor, appearing in ITV’s ‘Innocent’ and ‘DI Ray’, Sky’s ‘Funny Woman’ and Gerard Butler’s feature ‘Kandahar’. Ross oversees all Zebra Digital drama project
Catherine Elliott-Kemp – Creative Director
Catherine trained in branding, copywriting and promotion before working at ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC. She has worked across a variety of genres ranging from corporate branding and on-air campaigns to children programmes, documentaries and entertainment shows. Catherine is a visiting industry expert at several universities, as well as at connected events including RTS Futures and ITV Responsibility/ Transforming Talent.
At Zebra Digital we are supported by a fantastic team, hired both for their digital talents and their client skills, to apply professionalism to all stages of the production process. We are also active in mentoring and careers events for new and diverse entrants to the industry.
